Abstract

Nowadays use of internet in very field has helped to promote them. Entertaining sport could also make more connection with more addressees by making use of internet. One of the ways to make connection among all is the website which has generally been made and created by government in order to develop the leisure time entertainment and sport for people. In this research, much effort has been made to compare the structure and content government websites promoting sport and entertainment in IRAN, ENGLAND, CANADA and AUSTRALIA, afterward the specification of IRANIAN websites and those for three countries. Then finally it was tried to create a pattern in order to be used for increasing numbers of such websites or developing and upgrading them. The present research has been carried out by use of descriptive method, in the way that the structure and content of the governmental websites in IRAN and these three countries, promoting sport and entertainment have been compared. The statistic society for this research was all such websites promoting sport and entertainment in all four countries. Research samples included 31 websites which have been selected in order to be investigated and evaluated. The instrument for that was a researcher made three-value Leekert check list for investigating and evaluating those websites promoting sport and entertainment that its reliability was checked and then verified by 13 computer and physical education experts. It contained 16 structure parameters and 28 content parameters. In description statistic part abundance, mean value and deviation has been presented and the hypotheses of the research have been tested by T-test. The results showed that there is no significant difference between structure specifications of theses websites (p < 0.05) but there is a significant difference between the content specifications of IRANIAN websites and those three countries. The weakness regarding content specifications has been detected in the same researches. Lack of proper relevant pattern in specialized researches in the field of websites active in public sports and lack of using and hiring appropriate experts in designing websites were found as the relevant problems in this case. Considering the instrument used in this research and the items evaluated and investigated from sample websites, a pattern for IRANIAN websites has been presented.
